English, Essays, and Bibliography

For the past week I have been writing about butterflies. So now I will be writing about writing about butterflies, as well as bibliographies. For this particular assignment, my teacher gave me a template to follow.

I. INTRODUCTION
As always, use this section to introduce your topic and thesis,
as well as which butterfly you will be discussing specifically.
II. BODY – Butterfly life cycle
A. Four stages of a butterfly’s life

  1. Egg stage
  2. Larva stage
    a. Cocoons
  3. Pupa stage
    a. What is metamorphosis
    b. Chrysalis and cocoons
  4. Butterfly stage
    a. Final life stage
    b. Variety in butterflies
    B. The butterfly you chose to research
You will have to fill in this section yourself when you
complete your research on the specific butterfly you want to
    write on.
    III. CONCLUSION
    A. Summary of information
  5. The egg stage
  6. The larva stage
  7. The pupa stage
  8. The butterfly stage
    B. Recap the butterfly you researched
    C. Concluding statement to summarize your paper

I have followed that, and I will post the finished product soon.

I have also learned about bibliography. Here are two different types

MLA

Last name, First name. “Article Title.” Website Title. Publisher of Website, Day Month Year article was published.
Web. Day Month Year article was accessed. [URL].

APA

Last, F. M. (Year, Month Date Published). Article title. Retrieved from URL

Those examples are for articles. The next two are for writing a bibliography on a book.

MLA

Last, First M. Book. City: Publisher, Year Published. Print.

APA

Last, F. M. (Year Published) Book. City, State: Publisher.
